Is it okay to use two wedding dresses for the wedding itself?

I want to marry a beautiful dress, traditional flowing. I wear this dress for the ceremony and the first half of the reception. However, it is common to use a second, more modern looking clothing during the latter half of the reception? The second dress would be nicer, mounting way, you get the point.:)

sure why not! if you do not mind spending money for 2 dresses … I'd rather spend the extra cash on my honeymoon in Italy or that flat screen HDTV soon-to-be, in our new home … but … depends on you! Congratulations!
