wedding budget percentages

Your relationship with your wedding planner has to feel from the beginning. You have to trust them to make your wedding vision a reality, while feeling as stress or who are not in control.

When choosing your agenda, there are questions that you should do to ensure that they are able to coordinate your wedding with the level of service and decency that you expect.

Then I proposed the following list of questions that are a necessity in choosing their wedding planner.

How many weddings have been planned and can provide testimonials and pictures from these weddings?

A good wedding planner will always have accounts and pictures customer before hand so they can prove they have the knowledge, professionalism and experience to support your wedding experience.

Are they planning any other weddings the same day or weekend?
Unless your book is part of a great team or company that can handle two weddings the same day, should not participate at any other weddings that are on the same day as yours. You are paying for their undivided attention on her wedding day, and that's what you should get!

Are they familiar with your venue?
A wedding planner usually have a good knowledge of the wedding venues in your area, unless is extremely unusual. If your schedule has worked at the site before, can make communication with staff at the conclusion of a process much easier.

Makes understand your vision?
You may have a vision in your head about how you see your wedding, but not always knowledge about how to create it! Planning your wedding should take the time to learn about you as an individual and about his vision. A wedding planner of goodwill that you listen and explain how they have interpreted their vision and how it will come true.

Power to organize and coordinate other providers?
You may want your agenda to organize everything from start to finish, or providers may have already booked and I just want to coordinate on the period before and the day of your wedding. Either so its agenda should be able to take care of this for you. If you have a good knowledge of the industry on its agenda will be able to source the best suppliers for your style and budget.

How often should I expect to communicate with my schedule the wedding?
At the beginning of the planning process to wait for collection and reporting your planner to organize all elements of their day, for example, venue, catering, etc. From then on his agenda should be regularly contact you, keeps you updated on your progress. In the days before their wedding, their agenda must be in constant contact with you, ensuring that you are prepared and that everything is in place to allow the day to run smoothly.

Will you be there on the day?
If you want your planner wedding to be there on the big day then there should be no problem with this. A good planner will be there from early morning until celebrations are in full swing that night. They should have a low profile during the day and are due to hand you need them.

What will happen if Somehow my schedule can not come to the wedding?
From the beginning your planner should make clear if they can not attend your wedding. However, if unforeseen circumstances means you can not attend, a contingency plan should be in place. They should have a complete overview, detailed running order for the day, and supplier contact information on hand to pass to a colleague or team member in case the unexpected happens.

What will it cost and when should I pay for my wedding planner?
Wedding Planners Are all offer their own individual pricing structure, if it is a flat fee, hourly rate or a percentage of the total bill. Sure you understand exactly what they are charging for, and if there will be any hidden costs.

Most planners will ask for a deposit in advance when booking their services. This is usually around 20% and used to secure other suppliers and purchasing any items to order. If you are charging an hourly rate balance is not likely to be due until after the wedding. If it is a flat fee or a percentage of the balance is usually due before your wedding so be prepared to pay for this up front.

Trying to wedding prices for 2012 wedding?

We have set our wedding date for 2012, but most times he quotes a phone for many people are unwilling to help us as it is 'too far', we understand the prices will rise, but even when next year we ask the prices they do not seem interested, is there anywhere in the UK that will help us. We have just moved house and have two children so need to set a budget which is reasonable since we are paying for it ourselves, if we have some prices that go on that we can add a percentage our budget for price increases. Does anyone in or out in the same situation and how you go about it I felt that being honest with them about our date was the best way to go but I would agree that may be the only way to find out

Just ask them what their current prices are. Should make an appointment with your price list for this year. But do not expect that you are given a set of prices for three-year absence – my place and even food service will give us a set price per plate for our wedding in June. We know that prices this year, and know that it can increase slightly (maybe a dollar per plate) for next year. But three years is how far from being cited for. Just ask for their current prices to have an idea of what to expect. He can raise the price of 1 to 2% per year due to inflation.
